To be eligible for Green Skills Explorer you must be aged 18-24, unemployed or economically inactive and live in Nottingham City.

In year one there will be 10 engagement workshops delivered in different areas of Nottingham to promote the 4 week programmes.

Further details about dates, times and locations are currently being finalised.

In year 1, there are three programmes each lasting 4 weeks.

• Construction & Energy Performance (8 courses)

• Land management & Environment (6 courses)

• Creative industries and self-employment (4 courses)

Second Chance Learning Academy are delivering our community based workshops.

If you decide to progress onto our 4 week programmes you will be working with:

Nottingham College for our Construction and Energy Performance programme and;

Grow Notts for our Land Management & Environment programme.

Your 4 week programme will give you a taste of what employment could be like in your chosen sector.

Each 4 week course includes mock or real interviews for progression into further employment or training opportunities
