Course details
The Green Skills Explorer programme is for young people aged 18 to 24 who live in Nottingham and are not currently working. It helps you learn about jobs and opportunities in the growing green sector.
The programme is part of Nottingham City Council's Young People's Jobs Fund and works with local employers and training providers to help young people take their first steps towards a green career.

Our fun and interactive workshops are a great way to discover more about green jobs and how to progress onto our free Green Skills Explorer 4 week courses.
You will:
Learn about the Green Skills Explorer courses and training opportunities
Find out how qualifications can help you move into work or further learning
Explore different green careers, including construction, renewable energy, sustainability, retrofit and environmental jobs
Learn about the skills employers are looking for now and in the future
Gain opportunities to undertake mock or real interviews
Get information about the extra support available through the Young People's Jobs Fund
Meet organisations that are helping to create a greener Nottingham
Who Can Take Part?
You do not need any work experience or special qualifications. So providing you are aged 18-24, unemployed and live in Nottingham you are eligible to join.
