New Support for Employers: Free Employment System Reviews Now Available
The Good Employment Hub is launching a new offer for employers across Nottingham - the Employment System Review (ESR).
This free, structured review is designed to help organisations build stronger, more inclusive workplaces by assessing current practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
The ESR examines key areas including recruitment, equality, diversity and inclusion, accessibility, workforce development, and employee experience. Employers receive practical, tailored recommendations aligned with good employment practice.
Why take part?
The ESR helps organisations to:
Strengthen recruitment and attract a wider talent pool
Identify and remove barriers to employment
Improve workplace culture and inclusion
Better connect local people to employment opportunities
A key focus of the review is supporting employers to create accessible opportunities for young people aged 16 to 24 across Nottingham.
Additional funding available
Employers who complete an ESR may be eligible to apply for the Young People's Jobs Fund – Good Employment Grant.
Up to £500 available
Supports one-off activity aligned to ESR recommendations
Focused on improving access to employment for young people
⚠️ Funding is limited and cannot be guaranteed. Applications will be assessed based on impact and alignment with ESR outcomes.
